Iranian water fair: inter 3 conducts a delegation’s journey to the 7th Iranian International Water and Wastewater Exhibition (WATEX)
Due to the great interest of visitors in 2010, the leading fair of the Iranian water sector, the Iran International Water and Wastewater Exhibition WATEX, takes place anew in 2011, after one year only. From September 5 – 8, around 350 exhibitors present innovative technologies and approaches for concepts meeting the challenges of the regional water sectors to visitors from the region and all over Iran. inter 3 conceptually prepares, performs and evaluates a several day delegation’s journey of six companies of the German water sector in the context of the WATEX 2011. In addition to the Institute for Resources Management inter 3, plant manufacturers, suppliers and consulters take part in this journey. The main emphasis is put on sewage disposal in rural areas as well as on well and ground water management.
Aim: target-oriented matchmaking of demand and supply
The WATEX fair provides German companies of the water sector with the direct contact to the players of the Iranian water sector. Simultaneously, the WATEX is the ideal platform to offer adapted technologies and solutions for the Iranian market, to sell products and initiate projects. With specifically designed expert talks and exchanges according to the Iranian interests, inter 3 offers a forum for the discussion of the contemporary and future challenges of the Iranian water and wastewater sector related to approaches and solutions from Germany. In the focus are the need and the possibilities of future German-Iranian cooperation for know-how and innovative technologies in the areas of de-central sewage disposal technologies and well management. Such, the members of the German delegation are able to purposefully present their technical innovations and management processes as well as application options for Iran to Iranian decision makers.
Result: German-Iranian co-operation in the fields of de-central sewage disposal and well management
In addition to the establishment of a network, focal points of the journey will be the practically oriented knowledge transfer and the concrete future German-Iranian co-operation in the water and wastewater sectors. As support, inter 3 can make use of its long-term contacts to relevant decision-makers in Iran, the Ministry of Energy and the National Water and Wastewater Company as well as to companies of the water- and wastewater sectors. With distinctive expertise in the present water management situation in Iran and the round-the-clock assistance and translation into Farsi and German, inter 3 is able to provide an intensive and target-oriented German-Iranian professional exchange.
