Daniel Kaufman

Industrial engineer with focus on water management

Being able to calculate with more than numbers: As an industrial engineer specializing in water management, Daniel Kaufman is interested in the question of how we can use water now and in the future in a way that is both sustainable and economical. How can we ensure that basic needs continue to be met in the future, that social and ecological conflicts can be avoided, and that industry and economic development can remain viable? What is the concrete role of modern methods of water use and the expansion of proven technologies? Daniel Kaufman brings his experience from his studies and his time at the Federal Environment Agency to the inter 3 team and uses it to drive innovation in the field of water management. inter 3 clients can also benefit from his proven quality management skills ("Green Belt" certificate).

What motivates me? To work out ways so that water can continue to be used efficiently and sustainably in the future - by everyone!

Daniel Kaufman studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin until 2023 with a main focus in civil engineering in his bachelor's degree and energy and resources in his master's degree. To better understand international perspectives, he spent one semester of his studies at the Norwegian University of Technology and Natural Sciences (NTNU) in Trondheim, where his research included water resource management from the perspective of hydroelectricity and sustainable use of marine resources.
