Local energy transition - a challenging project

How can the expansion of renewable energies be designed effectively and fairly? Answers to this question have been worked out by researchers and practice partners together in the project W³ - Regional Energy Land Policy. Helke Wendt-Schwarzburg presents the results to a broad audience in the current issue of the journal "LandInForm". Instruments such as the energy land rating and the prosperity radar were developed, with which municipalities can negotiate the siting of RE plants more transparently and steer them in a public welfare-oriented manner. Other potential users are energy agencies or energy cooperatives.
