New concept of external presentation

The Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR) advises the Federal Government in the political fields of regional planning, housing and urban development. Alongside supervising and carrying out public relations work aimed at the expert community for many research projects, the BBSR’s third focus is its own research in empirical spatial monitoring and analysis. inter 3 is creating a new concept for the BBSR’s public image and public relations and advising on its implementation.

The research branch of the Federal Office for Building and Spatial Development has existed as an independent Federal Institute (BBSR) since 2009. It publishes comprehensive information with indicators, maps, images and tables on various levels of spatial development for the expert community. These publications include, for example, spatial development forecasts, models for achievability, or housing market analyses.

Objective: To optimise public image and public relations aimed at the expert community

The objective of inter 3’s concept is to give the BBSR a distinguished public image and to communicate its research results to the expert community in a targeted, user- and media-friendly way.

Results: Distinguished Corporate Design and appealing Information Presentation

In close cooperation with the client, and together with its partner, Stilblüte Kommunikation Berlin, inter 3 brings the Corporate Design to the various communication media. The publication in which the BBSR publishes the results of its ongoing spatial monitoring is getting a new editorial format and an appealing design.  In addition, the website’s information architecture is being re-worked to make the online-communication more user-friendly.
