Vocational training export to Egypt

product development and marketing

The article summarizes the experiences of the WEB-TT project’s work package “product development”. WEB-TT, funded by the Federal Ministry Education and Research (BMBF), involves actors from high-tech industries, scientific institutions and vocational education providers. Guided by a structured and target orientated coordination management the inter- and trans-disciplinary WEB-TT consortium developed demand-oriented and tailor made Train-the-Trainer programs, TVET modules and certificates. Methods and didactics for foremen which are offered by T-t-T programs will ensure a sustainable process within an organization and will optimize work processes and reduce instruction phases.

TVET modules focus on skill development of construction workers and are an indispensable guide to insure high quality standards. This sustainable approach leads to a higher technical productivity and economic efficiency as a basis for high international competitiveness. Evaluation of the first T-t-T programs shows that the OCI foremen acquired important methods and didactic concepts as well as important skills which they need in professional life. The experiences gained in the collaboration between OCI and the WEB-TT consortium are an important preparation for the development of further projects.
