Operator partnerships enable international know-how transferr

Companies in the German water sector have knowledge, skills and experience that are particularly needed in countries in the global South. Experience shows: If the international export of environmental technologies is flanked by education and training cooperation, the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of technology and thus the benefits in the partner countries increase considerably. With the Digital LEARNING HOUSE, inter 3 has set up the technical infrastructure for international development cooperation between German municipal water utilities and foreign providers and has developed the initial offerings. These include, among others, the virtual tour of a sewage treatment plant including further training or train-the-trainer webinars for the development of skilled workers in Iran.

Knowledge transfer also nationally: training concepts for innovation managers

What can research teams do to ensure that their results find their way into application? Unfortunately, there is no simple 'one fits all' solution to this question. But there is a lot of experience in transdisciplinary innovation management, which the innovation researchers at inter 3 make available in various training courses and digital learning formats. In addition to a series of explanatory films, for example on innovation management as a whole and on individual methods, digital crash courses can be booked, for example on the question of how politics and administration or companies can be successfully brought on board as implementation partners.
