Innovative energy storage systems for mobile use in vehicles and electronic devices

The project commissioned by Strategy GmbH Berlin will devise concepts for the development of novel forms of energy storage and their robust and durable implementation in electronic equipment and vehicles. The concepts will be developed in cooperation with a series of partners from research and applied branches of the energy technology sector. The project will be led by Mannesmann Pilot Development. inter 3 is responsible for the innovation management.

Objective: System innovation in materials and technology applications

The project combines three subject areas: Firstly the development of new storage materials for hydrogen, natural gas and electricity; secondly the use of these storage materials in long term reliable and robust energy stores; thirdly the integration of these energy stores in energy consumers, namely vehicles and electronic equipment. The aim of this integrated approach is to achieve basic and workable system innovations.
